While photographing an abandoned manor house, urban explorer Dan Raven (who discovered this abandoned BMW) came upon this beautifully preserved billiard room complete with what appears to be a full size snooker table. The dusty snooker room, in a deserted mansion labelled only as Mooncalf Manor, seems to be in reasonable condition despite the building’s empty state. A score board is still mounted on the wall, alongside which can be seen old snooker cues just waiting for a player to rack the balls and take to the cloth. Its a haunting scene which reflects the grandeur of many forgotten buildings, and hopefully one that can be reversed in due course. Unlike many bar billiard tables confined by tight dimensions, this example appears to be a tournament-sized fixture measuring 11 feet 8.5 inches by 5 ft 10 in.
